Elledge has been drawing and painting since he was a wee lad, always getting into something creative. When his parents bought a VHS camcorder in the early nineties he took it over and started making stop frame animation videos with clay, toys, chalk and anything he thought would work well for the part. He managed to get the 'stop-frame' effect by pausing and unpausing the camcorder manually and using the record lamp as his queue. The result was a bit choppy but he was just happy to be doing it. He also became familiar with Prizmacolor® color pencils and quickly became a fan.
He took up a career in the sign industry as a graphic designer creating anything from custom yard signs, routed wood and sign-foam signs to full custom decal graphics for trucks and motor homes. Designing logos has always been something people seek him out for. After doing that for a while he got out of the sign business and began working for O.C. Tanner as a Graphic Production Specialist which mostly involved web maintenance and pre-press work. He thought he would test out programming in XHTML and CSS and found he really enjoyed it and is eager to broaden his programming skills. He is currently working for Whole Foods Market® in Monterey, California as the store graphic artist/signmaker, where he gets to do fun chalk art and other signs and design work.
He not only has put eggs in the drawing and designing basket but he has put some in the music basket as well, experimenting with sounds and instruments back in his teenage years and then getting serious with the drums. He played in many local bands such as Elsewhere, Passion Play, Mona, The Happies, and The Spring Invention to name a few. He has fun playing keys from time to time as well.
Then there are the Martial Arts...Wu Tsu Chin, Ninjutsu, KaJuKenBo and Bushido...he is a Ninja (look for his add in the thrifty nickel)
